Associate Litigation Attorney

Talent Consultants are partnering with a client seeking a Litigation Attorney responsible for handling creditor’s rights, real estate, and title curative litigated matters. This individual will leverage their legal knowledge and courtroom experience to effectively manage the litigation process on behalf of clients.

Specific Duties, Activities, and Responsibilities

  • Attend mediations, trials, hearings, and perform other related duties as assigned
  • Travel as needed
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues and cross-functional teams
  • Draft articles and deliver presentations to clients, trade associations, and continuing legal education programs
  • Participate in business development and marketing initiatives
  • Manage and prioritize multiple cases and projects simultaneously
  • Assist with additional responsibilities and special projects as required

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree and Juris Doctor from an ABA-accredited law school
  • Minimum of 2–4 years of litigation and courtroom experience (creditor’s rights/foreclosure experience preferred)
  • Member in good standing with the State Bar of Georgia
  • Strong legal research and writing skills
  • Experience taking and defending depositions
  • Proficiency in drafting pleadings, briefs, affidavits, discovery, proposed orders, correspondence, memoranda, and opinion letters
  • Experience with Westlaw
  • Thorough understanding of rules of evidence and civil procedure in both state and federal courts
