We are hiring several CT Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist performs diagnostic imaging procedures using computed tomography (CT) equipment to produce high-quality images for physician interpretation. The technologist ensures patient safety, follows radiation protection standards, and provides compassionate patient care while maintaining imaging equipment and records.


This position plays a vital role in delivering accurate diagnostic imaging services while ensuring the highest standards of patient care and safety.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Perform CT scans according to physician orders and established imaging protocols.
  • Prepare and position patients for CT examinations.
  • Explain procedures and answer patient questions to ensure comfort and cooperation.
  • Administer contrast media as prescribed and monitor patients for adverse reactions.
  • Operate CT imaging equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Review images for quality and completeness before submission to radiologists.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation.
  • Follow radiation safety principles and infection control procedures.
  • Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare staff.
  • Monitor and maintain CT equipment; report malfunctions as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA, facility policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Assist with departmental quality assurance and performance improvement activities.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
  • Current ARRT certification in Radiography (R).
  • CT certification preferred or obtained within required timeframe.
  • Current state licensure as required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Strong knowledge of CT imaging procedures, anatomy, and radiation safety.

Work Schedule

  • Full-Time
  • 5 days per week
  • 8-hour shifts
  • Occasional overtime, weekends, or on-call coverage may be required based on departmental needs.


Compensation is dependent upon experience - up to $62.00/hour
