We are are a Residential Cottage Manager for the Womens Cottage that supports our clients patient.
The Residential Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of residential services programs, ensuring high-quality care, regulatory compliance, operational efficiency, and staff leadership. This role supports individuals receiving services while ensuring all programs align with organizational policies, state regulations, and the agency’s mission and values.
The ideal candidate is a strong leader with experience in residential services, developmental disabilities, behavioral health, or social services environments.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Leadership
- Oversee day-to-day residential operations across assigned programs and service locations.
- Ensure services are delivered in accordance with agency policies, care standards, and organizational goals.
- Monitor program performance and implement process improvements to enhance operational effectiveness and quality of care.
- Respond to operational issues, emergencies, and staffing challenges as needed.
Compliance & Quality Assurance
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations, including residential care and social service requirements.
- Maintain adherence to health, safety, and housing regulations.
- Monitor implementation of individual care plans and behavioral support strategies.
- Maintain documentation and reporting standards required by regulatory agencies and funding sources.
Team Management & Staff Development
- Supervise, mentor, and support residential staff and leadership teams.
- Participate in recruiting, hiring, onboarding, scheduling, and performance management.
- Coordinate and oversee staff training and development initiatives.
- Foster a positive, collaborative, and accountability-driven work environment.
Financial & Administrative Oversight
- Assist with departmental budget management, expense tracking, and resource allocation.
- Monitor operational costs while maintaining service quality and compliance.
- Prepare operational reports and provide updates to executive leadership as requested.
- Participate in leadership meetings, committees, and organizational initiatives.
Resident & Family Support
- Promote person-centered care and ensure residents receive appropriate support services.
- Build positive relationships with residents, families, guardians, and external partners.
- Address concerns, incidents, and service-related issues in a timely and professional manner.
Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Human Services, Psychology, Healthcare Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in residential services, social services, healthcare, or disability support programs.
- Previous supervisory or management experience strongly preferred.
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or behavioral health needs preferred.

Additional Requirements
- Ability to pass criminal background screening and other required clearances.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation may be required.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or on-call schedules as needed.
- Required certifications or training must be obtained and maintained per agency standards.
